Winter decided to release his cold grip on April 14th and I know he did it for Sarah and Seth! One would think that after capturing so many love stories of Big Days, I would get desensitized to them. But man, I almost cried five times at this one! The way they looked at each other and laughed together was for real. Both are from of very loving & supportive families so to get swept away was easy. Maybe my sentimentality is the result of being involved with the third wedding in this family that Chris and I captured. We feel like we are part of this big family now since Sarah’s cousins, Marie (married Ian) and Katherine (married Curtis) hired us in the past. We are honored and looking forward to capturing Sarah’s sister, Elizabeth who is marrying Ben, in June 2019! But before then, I’m looking forward to dropping by for Thanksgiving and Christmas! Grin! Congratulations and Best wishes Sarah & Seth! You guys are amazing! Please enjoy your wedding memories!
Who said you can’t get married during Pittsburgh’s pothole season? Marie and Ian defied the laws of Winter this year on 2/9/18. They proclaimed their eternal commitment to one another in Swissvale, PA. A quick stop provided some exceptional photo opportunities on the very icy, Hot Metal Street Bridge. You may recognize Marie from a previous wedding. She was the maid of honor to her sister, Katherine, who married Curtis in 2016. Chris and I want to extend our best wishes to you and your family! In addition, thank you for hiring and trusting us to capture your wedding memories and your engagement session! Look out for the next wedding: Marie and Katherine’s cousin, Sarah is marrying Seth on 4/14/18 in North Huntingdon, PA! In the meantime, enjoy Marie and Ian’s entire wedding on my website:www.amcgregorphotography.com
You may know Jessica Nethen. She is a friend that I trust and respect. Not only was she my former student at photography school , she has also been my 2nd shooter while capturing weddings. You may ask, “Were you nervous to capture her Big Day?” My response to you would be, “Cha… ABSOLUTELY!!” I am always humbled by former students when they ask me to capture their wedding memories. Jessica and Michael asked me to capture their engagement and wedding photos. These two were so much fun to work with. And if you are wondering…. No, I did make her assist me in capturing her own wedding. This time, I had the help of Chris Lane. Chris and I had a great time capturing Jessica and Michael’s December wedding! We were thrilled to spend the entire day with you both and your guests. This couple did the unthinkable: they planned an outdoor wedding in December – and they pulled it off! Congratulations to the both of you and Thank you for your trust! Best Wishes to Valerie and Corey. These two amazing musicians are professionals in the genre of bluegrass: Bluegrass/CopperWatchMusic. Valerie’s mom bought the highest bid for my photo services that I donated toward a local, non-profit, environmental organization (Jacob’s Creek Watershed Association). I was thrilled that she loved my work but was shocked when I heard of her daughter’s wedding date: OCT. 7th!!! Unfortunately, I was already booked! Fortunately, my business partner, Chris Lane was able to capture and edit their wedding! Corey and Valerie told me how pleased they were with Chris’ professionalism and creativity. They also expressed how happy they were to discover us in the last month before their wedding. I can only express how fortunate I am to be connected to such a wonderful network of clients, great photographers and non-profits. Donate & hire locally to support your community. Should you hire either me or Chris, you should expect a ton of beautiful images from your Big Day Memories. Hope you enjoy Valerie & Corey’s entire wedding day on my website: Aaron McGregor Photography
Kathryn’s Mom contacted me earlier this year to capture her daughter’s Big Day. Her daughter, Kathryn, lives in Red Lion, PA and didn’t know a photographer in the Greensburg – Irwin area. Fortunately, her Mom had hear of me through some friends. Congratulations to Kathryn and Mike. Lindsey and I had such an amazing time celebrating your Big Day with you! I hope you and your wedding guests enjoy your special day all over again! In addition, let them know that they can order reprints for themselves and for Christmas! Mike & Kathy Happy Holidays & Merry Christmas!
